In recent weeks, 102 Construction Company of 101 Engineer Battalion was Royal Army
with us on Curaçao for the Caribbean Beaver exercise. This exercise ended yesterday. 

120 soldiers and 40 vehicles were on island where they performed the exercise on Wacawa, 

Christoffelpark  and other locations on Curaçao.
These army construction specialists have achieved great results in the short term. 

They have helped a lot with improving training facilities. Although not an owner, the Ministry of Defense 

is a regular user of Wacawa training ground. This extensive terrain is very suitable for Dutch and international 

units to come and practice. And with the help of the engineers of 102 Construction Company, the facilities have been given a nice boost. 

Curaçao can thus further develop into a 'training hub' for (international)
