Yang Xiaohu, executive director and general manager of CIMC Enric, said that the value chain of "Canada-South China LNG tank multimodal transport" provides a new path for peak-shaving natural gas storage in the Greater Bay Area.

This batch of tank containers carrying overseas LNG gas sources has completed the first LNG tank container transaction at the Shenzhen Natural Gas Trading Center, which will further help Shenzhen build a natural gas trading hub city.

　　It is reported that through this intermodal transportation, the value chain of "Canada-South China LNG Tank Container Multimodal Transportation" constructed by CIMC Enric will provide flexible and timely peak-shaving emergency gas sources for Shenzhen and surrounding cities, and solve peak The contradiction between supply and demand of natural gas in the long term will improve the natural gas emergency peak shaving and supply capacity in Shenzhen and even the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. According to reports, LNG tank container trade is a seaborne LNG import model other than the "large LNG carrier + receiving station" model, which can increase the source of LNG resource supply, with small investment, small and medium-sized end users can directly participate, and basically no construction period is required. It has the characteristics of flexible supply guarantee, suitable storage and transportation, and "end-to-end" direct access to users. It can cover areas that the natural gas pipeline network cannot reach, realize flexible peak shaving, multiple supply guarantees, and supply natural gas to more end users.
