World building alternate history maps Quest to see all the world's wonders and upon reaching the end of the realm of men open the door to an entirely new domain from which all sorts of powerful spirits and dangerous beasts were sure to emerge

 

is the objective  alright so  I was basically doing nothing all right  and  for some reason I came across this post  on a specific subreddit called imaginary  Maps  and it's  it's something it's really something  okay so you might all know that I really  like World building and things like that  I just kind of like those things  and yeah up to that point I think we can  all agree that World building alternate  history maps uh 

things like this history  and  mods whatever are all pretty interesting  things you know  so nothing very weird about that but  then  um yeah I cannot like looking at other  alternate histories to get a kind of  inspiration for my own  and for some reason  uh I was just scrolling the server that  was talking about these things  are we actually even live robots  mute the volume  so yeah  uh this shit's wild all right let's just  let's just start by that this stuff is  [ __ ] wild 

I found it while schooling  the subreddit I found it while scrolling  imaginary Maps and yeah I was just completely appalled  by how big this stuff is so okay verse  lower stop I'm gonna be explaining what  what this all means because it's insane  like what it what is this what does this  mean thoughts awesome images here to  start with I'm gonna go first for wait  no never mind  the lore all right the Lord baby so this  thing says a bunch of lore  which is  um maybe even too much honestly I'm just  gonna start by reading the lore so you  guys know what I'm talking about okay so 

 the year is  okay so the year of the black moon it  has been 308 years since the renowned  Explorer Ferdinand magellans had been  sent by the Spanish Crown to attempt the  first circumnavigation of the globe  when the Trinidad was blown of course  the Trinidad is the ship he was sailing  with sending it on a journey that will  fundamentally reshape how Humanity  perceived its world and what lies beyond  the Fateful detour would make it screw  whatever it would make it screw  arrive to the southernmost reaches of  the world rifting towards a desolate  Frozen landscape covered by glaciers  resembling a vast wall of ice and  encircling the world known  on its surface the ice will seem to  stand in an unconquerable barrier that forbid Mankind from any going from going  any further 

yet as they approached Magellan and his crew felt an explicable  compulsion to keep going  even when an ominous color began to  churn in the sky when the Frozen scene  became again to froth and boil and the  moon lost its light their urge to pursue the adventure only intensified this compulsion grew into madness as the  sailors were gripped by the great and  terrible versions of their mind and were  not equipped and to comprehend  and the mighty glaciers begin to crumble before him somehow a fraction of the crew survived for an unknown period of time for which they were unconscious or  unwilling to recall the Seas and their  minds had combed and they found that a  large portion of 

the glacial barrier had hoped to reveal mossi Coastal Landscapes  bookending a vast stretch of open ocean  continuing to pass on the southern  Horizon  what one was a wall  now was a gate and the sailors would return to Iberia with the sense that their unprecedented Globe sparing Voyage  was just the first step of a much  greater Journey so for now I'll just  stop here 

so  what is this once again what am I  talking about  what is going on all right let me first  just check up the like live and stuff so I get everything right  and just add everyone for you know no  reason  so what really what am I talking about  so this is the start of the lore where  we at I think we are like at Magellan exploration we're like in the 16th and  15th centuries  so we're in Spain we're going on an  expedition going here in the streets of  Magellan and for some reason Magellan  goes not here but he goes  I believe here  and the walls of ice which would be  Antarctica of course literally disappear  all right and they are encountered they  encounter what appears to be  and I'll read this all right with Magellan nowhere to be found once Sebastian alcano led to the remaining  ships back to the old world finding  unrest and upheaval everywhere 

they went  south of the Equator they found old  dwarf finding unrest and upheaval  everywhere they found Coastal Villages  ravaged by tsunamis and storms the  destitute people stricken with  apocalyptic Terror with many perceiving  the black moon as a Norman of the friend  of the days as they moved North they  have found less destruction was Justice  must unrest  the moon had remained pitch black ever  since the wall of ice had opened a  nightly reminder to the peoples of every  land that something about their world  had changed 

the Explorers kept what they witnessed as closely regarded Secrets  only telling the tale once they had Direct audience with the King of Spain each man recalled what he saw while  approaching the ice wall differently each of the Visions were unique mostly incoherent and contradictory but there  was a single common element every man  could describe in pristine detail a tall ethereal woman whose skin was dark as cavernous Abyss but at the same time  glowing with some otherworldly energy standing atop of the glacial wall  staring them down with closed eyes  

without speaking she called out to them beckoning them to scam closer to join her at the top of the wall and peer over  the other side to see what lays Beyond  and I'm just going to put up the actual  picture of the woman since the artist  that made this story actually Drew her so this is her apparently I assume  actually I'm not I'm not really like  sure 100 but I think that's her  so you already know this stuff is weird  like it's there's no going back all  right it's already been pretty weird so  far  dream of the atlas for decades the moon remained an empty like black void 

The Long Dark Knights  passed around to the known world with  millions of restless Minds consumed by  speculation and a desire for answers in  every society Scholars philosophers and  holy men will struggle to interpret the  sign from the heavens and ease the  worries of the masses  in Punjab the followers of Guru nanak  there were particularly emboldened by  this Cosmic spectacle where it'd be a  sign of change of or a sign of Doom it  was the duty of the sixth Supreme spread  the proof of the faith to the confused  and divided peoples of their land and  together proceed on his new spiritual  path in peace and unity with local Sunni  and Hindu consuthorities struggling to  reach a consensus in regards to Black Moon event many of their followers  turned to the guru for answers and their  sick Faith Boston all across the Indian  in the season so apparently for some  reason this thing the the thing that  happens there the end of the ice wall  actually helps the Hindus you know  actually spread so interesting following  the initial confusion regarding the  black moon the story of Magellan's  fateful Expedition scripts sway across  the old world some told the story of a  group of intrepid explorers called into  action by a mighty Emperor who for the  first time rounded the entire world 

a great feat of navigation it will be  regarded with the promise of endless new discoveries and riches to be found beyond the great barriers of the South, some told this story of a British  Sailors from Golduck on a Godless Kingdom will search the world over  unknown lands and peoples to conquer plunder and spread their even Faith  their hubris carrying them to the Future. furthest reaches of the world where they  met broads wrath and caused Divine punishment to bring down over all the  unkind  some stories of an adventure who  embarked on an Epic Quest to see all the world's wonders and upon reaching the  end of the realm of men open the door to  an entirely new domain from which all sorts of powerful spirits and dangerous  beasts were sure to emerge 

some told the  story of a petty king and the backwaters of what was once Rome and who wasted his major wealth on a pointless expedition across all manners of obscured in uncivilized lands collecting no Goods Treasures or profit of any kind lending  their Kingdom to fall into poverty in this array and as a final bit of poetic  justice from Heaven all the lands they discovered were washed away in a great  tsunami. So what this is is basically the different people of the world I'm gonna  assume the last one were like the  synthetic civilization I believe since  what was once was wrong talking about  Iberia anyways these were like the  different civilizations of the world  reacting to the stories of Magellan's men traveling on like the world and going from Spain all the way to the Sentinels Gates 

which if the lore continues we will  actually learn what this actually is  because I haven't read yet what the sentence gate is so some a lot more of  lore to be had here  all right I'm gonna just put the image of  like the world for a while  so you guys get to see what I'm talking  about in case you don't know and I'm  gonna keep reading the lore  okay so beyond the gates  as the native and civilizations of the  Americas were being crushed under their Relentless pressure of colonial invasions the lands available for conquest and exploitation in the new world were quickly diminished and thus several powers of the western world would shift their focus to gain head in  Expeditions throughout the Dominion's creepy ring the exploration of the thus  the mysterious lands that lay on the  other sides of the ice walls  these four Pioneer Empires would establish their First Colonial presence  in a second ring 

And along the way make  discoveries just as Monumental as what  Magellan had stumbled Upon A Century prior so it appears it appears that after Magellan's discovery of the end of the ice walls of the first gate  many explore many explorers from the  rest of the old world and the new world  would try and find ways to reach what Magellan had discovered and also search up the first ring which I am going to assume that the first ring is anything inside this red kind of reddish  outline here so everything here is the  first ring 

so first of all how does the geography work and why is the isil Isle  of Man missing why is the Isle of Man missing have you seen this landmass missing 12  1200 12 500 pound Sterling's award or  accurate information verifying the whereabouts of this Majesty's beloved isil and his max chop so stuff is going  weirdly okay

so  as far as now goes  I think it's starting to get pretty  interesting all right  let's continue  with the real dirty massive territories  in new neural so wait wait let me check  um  okay were there already massive  territories in the new world firmly execured granting them incomparable wealth manpower to drop on Spain was  more prepared than any other European  nation to lead the charge in Exploration  to the second ring  

dozens of aspiring conquistadors would  set snail  and crusading the spirits of the  Teutonic forebears and launched a series  of expedition to the outer ring  so we have two main colonizers for now  that actually start doing stuff which  are Spain here  and Prussia yeah you got me right  Prussia  also you'll probably notice something  what is this map what the hell is going  on why does France Prussia here but they  are kind of owned by France and France  is big as hell so we're just gonna see  what Prussia says in their lore the  Republic of Prussia with the strong  desire among the population for  nationalism induced by the French both  by the way of it being a French idea as  a reaction to the uniquely cruel  treatment by the French but no classroom  all government to run around the country  being basically under military  occupation they turn to the  glorification of the old Teutonic  Knights and the idea of militaristic  Prussia with this as this at this point  uh with this as the point around which  the resistance rally is here they have  become rather hostile to non-germans  especially the French but also to the  balls and the Slavs against from the  Teutonic Kingdom tectonic Knight spot  this attitude has been brandished  against the French poles Scandinavians  and other Germans moving into lands Left  Behind from those who went to their king  of zarzura what is the kingdom of their  I think it's somewhere here  I think it's something here right there  yeah it's very very so  you already can see how this is going  insanely okay so let's see let's see  what the kingdom of the zarzura is right  because  okay now let's start from like the first  colonies  so we know that the prussians  went places and started creating  colonies into the second ring all right  so we know the French and the prussians  did it so now we have to find what  actual column is  they made also what the hell what is  this  is what I mean like when I stumbled on  this post things like this were why I  wanted to make a live about it because  what is this  like you'll just open an image and boom  you have like shadowy figure  saying things and what appears to be  Antarctica but it's actually the ice  walls  let me see if I can find like a German  Colony something like this  I really don't know how they would even  look like a German settlement  unfortunately that lie Beyond  so we already have like the  what can I say uh the Singapore of these  serpent skates  so we go okay let's see let's save the  venetians which I I also noticed that  don't really exist anymore as an  independent state so let's say the  Italians let's say the Italians let's  let's get get these guys  a do a little Expedition here a bit of  expeditioning one would say  click continent from anything we have in the  real world all right so this is the  first continent I will talk about in the  area called xenonesia or xenonesia  depending on how free you pronounce it  so xenonisha has slower too so it will  immediately read it but I actually would  like to get myself the page for this  since it's easier yeah this is xenonesia  so the circle of invasion this vast  region of the ocean placed close to  several archipelagos are remarkable in  size but notable for the unusually  warlike nature of the wildlife in every  sphere of society xenonesian animals  will rush in an attempt to seize  whatever they covet with ferocity be it  resources mates or territory there is  little hesitation or caution and much  energy this draws a strange parallel  with the lives of the Xenon issue it's  Sapient inhabitants so already we are  seeing something different from normally  we know that these people the the the  thing the inhabitants of xenonesia  have like humans in them so these guys  are humans all right or they should be  at least a right which is weird  considering you know we're outside of  Earth yet we have humans so let's see  how they actually got there
